The P2085 by Laplace Instruments is an EMC Pre-Amplifier that operates from 9 kHz to 100 MHz. It provides a gain of 30 dB with a noise of less than 5 dBuV. This high gain amplifier is suited to the recovery of LISN transient limiter insertion loss.  It provides signal gain, enabling low-level signals to be fed into a receiver so that its dynamic range is fully utilized. This pre-amplifier requires DC supply of 12 V (supplied with mains plug-top PSU).  It measures 97 x 40 x 30 mm with BNC/SMB connectors, weighs 220 g (incl. PSU) and is designed to amplify EMC interference signals received from antennas.
