Standards Institution of Israel Expands Advanced EMC Testing Capabilities

The Standards Institution of Israel's Electromagnetic and Radio Compatibility Laboratory offers comprehensive testing and consultancy services, supporting products from the initial development phase through to final EMC standard compliance and certification. The laboratory provides advanced testing infrastructure and expert guidance to ensure product compliance with international and Israeli electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards.

The laboratory possesses

• A developed testing infrastructure
• Broad knowledge and extensive experience in product authorization processes
• A special development site for radiation tests, which excels in very low background noise levels, for testing up to 40 GHz, and an anechoic chamber for testing up to 40 GHz

In cases where full product testing is impractical due to product size or family grouping, the laboratory issues Technical Construction Files (TCF) for European CE Mark certification. This alternative approach allows manufacturers to meet regulatory requirements efficiently.
