The Model 2215 from Empower RF is a Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 1900 to 6000 MHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 200 W with a power gain of more than 53 dB. This class-AB amplifier utilizes high power GaN-on-SiC devices that provide wide frequency response, high gain, high peak power capability, and low distortions. It employs advanced broadband RF matching networks and combining techniques, EMI/RFI filters, and all qualified components to achieve exceptional performance, long-term reliability and high efficiency. This SSPA is suitable for CW, AM, FM, Pulse and some linear applications, making it a versatile tool for EMC testing. It has a unique patented architecture that minimizes internal connectors which helps to reduce EMI emissions and make the amplifier more reliable.

The Model 2215 includes a built-in control and monitoring system, with protection functions which preserve high availability. It can be remotely managed and diagnosed via an embedded web server which enables users to conveniently monitor the amplifier's status and make necessary adjustments remotely. Moreover, the amplifier can be controlled through a web browser, enhancing its usability across diverse settings. This amplifier includes Ethernet, USB and RS-232 interfaces. It is available in a 5RU enclosure that measures 17.00 x 8.75 x 22.00 inches with N-type (female) connectors and is ideal for EMC applications.
