The 125S1G6C from AR/RF Microwave Instrumentation is Solid State Power Amplifier that operates from 1 to 6 GHz. It delivers a pulsed output power of 150 W with a small signal gain of 58 dB and has a gain reduction adjustment value of 12 dB. This Class-A SSPA provides protection from input overdrive beyond 0 dBm as well as protection from various failure conditions including over-temperature and power supply faults. It has spurious emissions of -73 dBc and harmonic distortion of -30 (at 100 W for entire band except 2 – 3 GHz). The low spurious levels and high linearity makes it suitable for use as a driver in testing wireless and communication components and subsystems.
The 125S1G6C has a front panel display that indicates the operational status and fault conditions. All amplifier control functions and status indications are available remotely using GPIB/IEEE-488, RS-232, fiber-optic serial, USB, or Ethernet. It is available in an enclosure that measures 50.3 x 35.5 x 65.3 cm with N-type (female) connectors. The SSPA is suitable for 5G testing and EMC test applications where continued operation into high VSWR loads including open and short circuits is required.
The export classification for this equipment is 3A001.
