UTAC, a market-leading international group in digital & sustainable mobility, customisable testing solutions, customisable testing systems, vehicle engineering, type approval, regulatory expertise, certification, training, corporate events and classic & sportscars festivals, is participating in a preparatory research project as a forefront for the future evolution of EMC regulations. This project is carried out on behalf of the European Commission Laboratory, also called Joint Research Center. This project is carried out with the technical support of Rohde & Schwarz and the expertise of Renault Trucks. 

Vehicle electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) plays a crucial role in the safety and performance of modern vehicles, and with the rapid evolution of technologies and standards, it is essential to anticipate regulatory changes to ensure compliance and innovation.

Project objectives:

• Analyze the impacts of new technologies on vehicle EMC.
• Develop advanced testing solutions or methods to meet future requirements of the R10 regulation
• Strengthen our expertise and our leadership position in the field of EMC.

The results of this enriching collaboration will soon be taken on board the R10 regulatory group.
