SIQ's EMC Lab Successfully Implements Testing Procedure According to ISO 11452-9:2021712370

Slovenian Institute of Quality and Metrology (SIQ), a professional, independent and impartial institution providing complete solutions in the fields of product testing and certification, management systems assessment, metrology, and training, has announced the successful implementation of the second edition of the ISO 11452-9 standard in the company's EMC Laboratory in 2024. To meet the requirements of this updated standard, the company acquired several new antennas specifically designed to cover the wider frequency range. This enables them to perform tests at frequencies ranging from 20 MHz to 6 GHz, in compliance with the updated base standard and various automotive manufacturer standards, such as TL81000 and GS 95002-2.

Additionally, the company upgraded their amplifier system to support testing in the wider frequency range. As part of this upgrade, they integrated two new directional couplers into their system, ensuring precise power monitoring and signal control in line with the stringent requirements of the ISO 11452-9 standard.

These improvements guarantee that their laboratory stays at the forefront of compliance with the latest EMC testing requirements for automotive applications.
