Siepel Installs New Anechoic Chamber for Radio and EMC Measurements in France712370

Siepel, an industrial expert in absorbers, anechoic, and reverberation chambers, has installed a new anechoic chamber for radio and EMC measurements in France. Its versatile design allows its users to perform radio measurements because of its broadband absorbers and radiated electromagnetic compatibility measurements.

The Siepel pyramid absorbers (SEA-PM) equipping this chamber, the most efficient on the market, cover frequencies from 80 MHz to 110 GHz. As a reminder, SEA-PM absorbents are compatible with the most demanding cleanliness classes – ISO class 4 according to ISO 14644-1.

This chamber allows user to carry out qualification measures according to IEC61000-4-3 in immunity and DO160 + MIL-STD-461 in immunity and emission pre-qualification measures according to the CISPR 16. The Faraday cage covers the frequency band 10 kHz to 40 GHz.

For this project, Siepel was responsible for defining, manufacturing, and installing the electromagnetic shielding and absorbents. This chamber includes a turntable (diameter 1.2m), a roll positioner and an antenna mast. Other accessories can also be added to this type of test equipment: armored camera, table, etc.

As this project is subject to a confidentiality agreement, the clients are supposed to contact Jean Francois ROSNARHO, in charge of design or Stéphane TANGUY, Sales Director for any information or similar needs.
