Rohde & Schwarz, a provider of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing solutions, from debugging to full compliance for over 50 years, has announced the continuation of their “Are You a Genius” interactive EMC engineering challenge for the 2024 IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, Signal & Power Integrity (EMC + SIPI). Through this live interactive demo, Rohde & Schwarz is offering their technical expertise in EMC to a wide engineering audience.
Dr. Vignesh Rajamani, chair of the EMC + SIPI Symposium and EMC strategic development manager at Rohde & Schwarz says: “As the recognized leader in EMC compliance testing, Rohde & Schwarz is pushing the industry forward through their participation and sponsorship of the 2024 EMC + SIPI symposium. Through the live demos at the booth, as well as involvement in several workshops, training programs, and the ‘Ask the Expert’ panel sessions, Rohde & Schwarz is a key contributor to this year’s event.”
Rohde & Schwarz’s interactive challenge allows participants to receive hands-on experience with some of the latest EMC test equipment as they work through real-world engineering scenarios. Specifically, they will use the R&S ESW26 EMI test receiver with 970MHz FFT bandwidth to identify unintentional signals and the newly released R&S MXO5 oscilloscope to perform EMC debug plus signal and power integrity analysis. These hands-on challenges not only test the attendee's technical skills but also provide relevant training.
Additionally, Rohde & Schwarz will demonstrate a selection of their EMC test and measurement solutions in their booth. The AdVISE visual inspection software tool, now offering an autodetection option, simplifies monitoring of electromagnetic susceptibility testing by using AI to detect physical changes in the device under test. Highlighting the breadth and technical capability of the Rohde & Schwarz EMC solutions, they will also include live demos showing bulk current injection and conducted emissions testing.
The EMC + SIPI symposium brings together leaders from industry and academia all focused on EMC, signal integrity, and power integrity. Not only does this offer technical presentations, but also provides a venue for collaboration spanning industry and academia. In addition to the live demos and technical presentations, Rohde & Schwarz will be sponsoring the annual Gala networking event, a traditional sit-down dinner that connects leaders in the EMC industry as they develop solutions to emerging challenges.
