The new test chamber, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, further strengthens Intertek’s capacity to offer comprehensive EMC and radio testing services across a range of sectors including consumer goods, industrial, medical, energy storage, transportation, and fire detection and alarm systems in the UK and beyond.
The new three-metre semi-anechoic EMC and radio test chamber is fitted with the latest, state-of-the-art technology in automated radio test stacks and receivers ranging up to 44 GHz frequencies. It enables the team of highly skilled engineers at Intertek’s Leatherhead testing laboratory to support today’s cutting-edge technology while future-proofing the facility for technologies requiring higher frequency bands.
