The UK’s leading conference focused on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), EMC and Compliance International, has announced that it will return to the Newbury Racecourse in Newbury, Berkshire, on 16 and 17 May 2023. The show will feature an exhibition of compliance technology companies and consultants, alongside training and technical workshops and guest talks from experts in EMC and compliance. Registration for the free event is open on the show’s website.
EMC and Compliance International brings together specialists to provide electrical, electronic, and design engineers with guidance to tackle EMC and all other compliance issues. These include safety, radio equipment, and system specification and testing.
The training workshops at EMC and Compliance International 2023 will be delivered by some of the industry’s leading experts, including Keith Armstrong, Min Zhang, and Andy Degraeve. The workshops will cover key topics such as circuit design and shielding for signal integrity, power integrity and EMC, EMC for traction converters, conducted emissions in the aerospace sector, and many others.
“Each year it becomes increasingly important for engineers to have a strong understanding of EMC and interference as trends like miniaturization become increasingly prevalent across key industry sectors,” explained Keith Armstrong, EMC Expert at EMC Standards.
“EMC and Compliance International encompass all compliance-related issues that are important for engineers, such as electromagnetic interference. The conference’s structure is designed to equip attendees with the required knowledge to navigate safety risks and avoid elevated project costs and delivery times caused by interference issues.”
The show’s specialist speaker area, Ten Minutes with an Expert (TWEX), will return to the conference in 2023, giving attendees the opportunity to connect with leading experts in the field. Each TWEX session will focus on a key aspect of EMC and interference, such as Radio Equipment Directive (RED) compliance, and managing functional risks caused by EMI and EMC testing. The full list of speakers at this year’s TWEX will be announced soon.
