In an exciting collaboration, ASTAT, a leading provider of electromagnetic testing solutions, has partnered with the Maritime Technology Center (CTM) to establish an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) chamber in Gdynia. This project aims to meet the growing demand for comprehensive EMC testing services in the Pomerania region.
ASTAT has provided a complete set of state-of-the-art electromagnetic testing equipment that will enable the execution of comprehensive EMC tests. One of the key components of this collaboration is the semi-anechoic SAC10 chamber. This chamber is equipped with an advanced system for measuring conducted and radiated emissions, featuring the highly efficient Gauss Instruments receiver. Additionally, the center showcases a robust immunity testing system for radio interference, based on Amplifier Research amplifiers. Notably, the facility is the only one in the country to incorporate a unique testing system for exposure to electromagnetic pulses (NEMP), utilizing generators and solutions from the esteemed company Montena Technology.
With the integration of these innovative solutions, the Maritime Technology Center in Gdynia has achieved full readiness to conduct comprehensive EMC tests. This development allows meticulous studies and assessments of the impact of electromagnetic interference on various devices and systems.
