The TBPS01 from Tekbox Digital Solutions is a Near-Field Probe Set designed for identifying and troubleshooting radiated emissions issues at the circuit board level. Near-field probes are used to locate the source of RF emissions as well as circuitry susceptible to RF. It includes 3 magnetic field probes (H20, H10 and H5) as well as an electric field probe (E5). The probe set is ideal for assessing the electromagnetic behavior of individual components which can optimize circuit design. The TBPS01 probes are lightweight and portable, making near-field probing convenient and efficient. The set covers a frequency range of up to 6 GHz and includes an SMB to SMA cable (0.75m). Optionally a signal generator can be used with the probes for generating fields greater than 10V/m. The variable size of the probes allows for balancing sensitivity (locating very small signals) with resolution (isolating exactly which tracks, pins or features are creating the noise).
