The EMS-RI-806 from TDK RF Solutions is a Radiated Immunity Test System with a frequency range from 80 MHz to 6 GHz. It can conduct radiated immunity testing for IEC 61000-4-3 at 10 V/m (@ 3 meters distance) from the EUT, using 80% AM modulation (18 V/m CW). This system includes a log periodic antenna that operates from 80 MHz to 1 GHz and a double-ridged horn antenna that operates from 800 MHz to 10 GHz. It also includes two amplifiers with directional couplers, TDK antennas, antenna stands, a power meter, switching, and cabling as required for each system.
The EMS-RI-806 utilizes TDK’s Radiated Immunity Lab (RAD-LAB) software which is designed to automate radiated immunity testing by controlling the signal source output levels and monitoring the power levels necessary to generate the required field strength over a set of frequencies. The RAD-LAB software simplifies the process of performing Radiated Immunity tests in an anechoic chamber, a TEM CELL or a GTEM. It supports substitution, closed loop, and theoretical testing methods. It has a flexible design and can be easily upgraded to add measurement capabilities of additional standards such as ISO 11451-2, ISO 11452-2, and MIL-STD-461.
