The NSG 6000A from AMETEK CTS is a Radiated and Conducted Immunity Test System for frequencies from 9 kHz to 6 GHz. It consists of an integrated RF signal generator, RF switch and EUT monitoring interfaces along with AM and PM modulators. This system includes 3 freely configurable pulse modulators (1 &mus to 200 s) for radar pulse profiles. The RF signal can be switched to one of five outputs, where up to five power amplifiers can be connected directly and different RF switches are supplied for combining amplifiers into two antenna paths or other applications. It also allows up to eight power meters (PMR 6003 or PMR 6006) to be connected directly.

The NSG 6000A has a frequency resolution of 1 Hz and a level range from -60 to +10 dBm with a resolution of 0.1 dB. It includes a 5.7-inch color display which shows the generator and system setting parameters. The EUT monitoring is provided by 4 digital, and 1 analog input and the 14 digital outputs can be used for control purposes. This test system provides remote control through its network, RS232 and USB and optical interfaces. It is available in an enclosure that measures 45.0 x 42.3 x 13.2 cm and is designed for various EMC applications. It requires an AC supply from 100 to 240 V and consumes 90 VA of power.
