The TDEMI® X40 from GAUSS INSTRUMENTS is an EMI Receiver with a frequency range from 9 kHz to 40 GHz. It uses leading-edge analog-to-digital converters with an excellent ratio of signal-to-noise power density, modern high-speed FPGAs, and in-house designed high-performance microwave circuits to achieve high measurement accuracy and measurement speed. This receiver comes standard with a fully integrated spectrum analyzer mode and also a real-time spectrum analyzer mode. It has an analysis bandwidth of 685 MHz, and includes a preamplifier with a gain from 17 to 22 dB and an attenuator with 5 dB steps. This 50-ohm receiver is compliant with the CISPR 16-1-1 EMC standard.
The TDEMI® X40 supports peak, average, CISPR-average, quasi-peak, RMS, and CISPR-RMS-AVG measure and detection methods. It has an 800 x 600-pixel touchscreen display and supports Ethernet/LAN (1 Gbit and 100 Mbit), USB 2.0, RS232, PS/2, VGA, HDMI, and GPIB interfaces. This receiver is available in an enclosure that weighs 25 Kg and is ideal for applications according to all civil standards (e.g. CISPR, EN, FCC, or ANSI), military (MIL-461) as well as avionic standards (DO-160). It requires an AC supply to operate.
