The TDEMI® 18G from GAUSS INSTRUMENTS is an EMI Receiver operating from 9 kHz to 18 GHz. It uses leading-edge high-resolution and high-speed analog-to-digital converters and modern FPGAs, and in-house designed high-performance microwave circuits to achieve high measurement accuracy and measurement speed. This receiver comes standard with a fully integrated spectrum analyzer mode and a real-time spectrum analyzer (optional) mode. It has an integrated low noise amplifier (LNA), preselection, and automatic stepped attenuator. This receiver has an analysis bandwidth of 225 MHz and is compliant with the CISPR 16-1-1, MIL-461, DO-160, and ANSI C36.2 EMC standard.
The TDEMI® 18G supports peak, average, CISPR-average, quasi-peak, RMS, and CISPR-RMS-AVG measure and detection methods. It provides a traditional superheterodyne mode beside the FFT-based mode, which is implemented fully digital in the frequency range of up to 1 GHz. It requires a power supply of 230 V and has a power consumption of 60 - 140 W. This receiver has a 1280 x 800-pixel touchscreen display and supports Ethernet/LAN, USB 2.0, HDMI, and GPIB interfaces. It is available in an enclosure that weighs 13 Kg and is ideal for commercial and military applications.
