The ERC-6 from FRANKONIA is an EMI Receiver that operates from 9 kHz to 6 GHz. It supports the fast, FFT-based (time domain) measuring mode according to CISPR 16-1-1, Ed.3.1. This EMI receiver has an integrated pre-amplifier that provides a gain of 20 dB and also includes a variable attenuator with an attenuation range of up to 55 dB (in 5 dB steps). It supports peak, quasi-peak, average, RMS and CISPR-average detectors (RMS-average optional). The receiver can either be operated via the integrated touch-PC with 10-inch monitor or by external software. The external software enables fully automated measurements including automatic control of antenna mast and turntable.

The ERC-6 is available in a rackmount enclosure that measures 482 x 95 x 485 mm and is an excellent alternative to high-end-devices for many users, such as in-house developing departments. It includes USB and RS-232 interfaces. This EMI receiver requires an AC supply from 100 to 240 V and consumes 25 W of power.
