The XFdtd from Remcom is a 3D EM Simulation Software. It features a specialized FDTD Solver which provides broadband output from a single execution of the program with excellent scaling performance. This software is suitable for EMI/EMC, SAR, radar, antenna design and placement and more. The XFdtd can be combined with MPI technology for CPU clusters and is capable of building matching networks/corporate feed networks. It also allows 5G device optimization with the help of XF's tools for optimizing radiation and beam steering characteristics of antenna arrays. This software also predicts locations that are at risk of suffering dielectric breakdown with its collection of ESD testing simulation tools. XFdtd features a circuit element optimizer that determines optimal values for lumped circuit elements connected directly into the EM simulation mesh along with Optenni Lab Integration technology for network topology. It’s MATLAB export functionality ensures data availability through XF’s Result Browser which can be exported to MATLAB and CSV formats. Custom features can also be developed with its powerful scripting API.
