The AMP2070A from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 1 to 6 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of more than 150 W and provides a gain of better than 50 dB. This amplifier has a class AB linear GaN design and is suitable for all modulation standards. It ensures high reliability and ruggedness with built-in protection circuits and has options for monitoring forward/reflected power, VSWR, voltage, current and temperature sensing. The SSPA is available in a 3U benchtop or rackmount enclosure that measures 430 x 133 x 560 mm with N-type (female) connectors and includes Ethernet RJ-45 TCP/IP, RS422/485 and optional GPIB interfaces. It is ideal for broadband EMI laboratory, communications and EW applications.  The SSPA requires an AC supply from 100 to 240 V and consumes less than 1.5 kW of power.
