The AA-12G-8KWP from Advanced Amplifiers is a Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 1 to 2 GHz. It delivers a peak pulse output power of 8 kW with a power gain of more than 69 dB and gain flatness of up to 5 dB. This SSPA has a Class AB linear GaN design, offering high efficiency with excellent reliability and ruggedness. It has spurious levels of -60 dBc and harmonics of -20 dBc. This amplifier has built-in protection with extensive monitoring capabilities of parameters such as VSWR, output power, voltage, current, harmonics, and gain. It features instantaneous L-band octave bandwidth, local LCD and remote flexible interfaces. 

The AA-12G-8KWP offers remote flexible interfaces such as Ethernet, RS422, RS485, GPIB, and USB. It is available in a 14U rack-mount enclosure weighing around 350 lbs with N-type (female) input /output interfaces and BNC (female) gate connector. This SSPA requires an AC supply of 200-240 V and consumes less than 3.5 kW of power. It is suitable for linear high-peak pulse applications.
