The ARA 01 from Eurofins York is an Active Receive Antenna that operates from 30 MHz to 1 GHz. It has a dynamic range of 90 dB and a 1 dB compression point at 15.4 dBm. This antenna is equipped with two sets of replaceable Dipole Antenna Elements (DAEs). The primary set (DAE01) is fine-tuned for the 200 MHz to 1 GHz range and maintains usable sensitivity down to 30 MHz and the supplementary DAE02 can also be chosen to achieve heightened sensitivity within the 30 MHz to 300 MHz range. It requires a DC supply of 9 V and has an operating time of 6.5 hours with alkaline cells.

The ARA01 is available in a housing that measures 34 x 34 x 150 mm with BNC connector and can be used in Open Area Test Sites (OATS) as well as on-site locations. It is affordable, relatively easy to use and maintain and is ideal for use in radiated emissions measurements in a confined area, low-cost alternative to passive wideband antenna and portable measurement systems.
