The IS-SM100-TM from TDK RF Solutions is an Electromagnetic Absorber for frequencies from 300 MHz to 110 GHz. It has a pyramidal shape with a length of 100 cm and delivers excellent electromagnetic absorption performance starting at low frequency ranges. This absorber consists of a polyethylene foam base, utilizes the ohmic loss of carbon and is stable against chemicals with long service life. It has a typical absorption characteristic of up to 55 dB and is specifically designed for oblique incidence. This absorber is fire retardant (NRL Classes 1, 2 and 3; UL-94HBF) and uses materials that, when burned, emit gases that are relatively harmless to humans. It is available in a standard dimension that measures 840 x 600 x 1000 mm and is suitable for cellular testing and various wireless access operations.
