The PEFT 8010 from PFIFFNER Systems is an EFT / Burst Generator with an HV output voltage of 1 - 7.3 kV and a CDN output voltage of 1 - 6.6 kV. It has a spike frequency of 1 Hz - 110 kHz, a burst duration of 0.01 -999 ms, and a burst period of 1 - 500 periods at 2.5 ms - 10 s. This EFT / Burst Generator has a rise time of 5 ns ± 30% into a 50 - 1000 ? load, an impulse duration of 5 ns ± 30% into a 50 ? load and a 50 ns – 15 / + 100 ns into a 1000 ? load. It requires a max. DC voltage of 125 V and a DC current of 16 A. This EFT / Burst generator can be operated by the front panel keys in a stand-alone manner and can also be controlled by a PC via RS232 or IEEE 488 as part of a complete EMC test system.   

The PEFT 8010 can deliver EFT impulses in different formats including normal, continuous, random, and real pulse distribution. It is equipped with two grounding connections at the front panel and the rear panel. It is available in an enclosure measuring 450 x 570 x 130 mm and weighing 14 kg. The PEFT 8010 has a front panel layout with a large LCD display and intuitive software for the self-explanatory and safe operation of the instrument.
