The AXOS 5 from PFFINER is a Standalone EFT/Burst Generator for EMC testing applications. It provides an output voltage from 0.2 to 5 kV, has a rise time of 5 ns and an impulse duration of 50 ns. This generator has an integrated single-phase coupling decoupling network (CDN) for testing up to 16 A. The system monitors the voltage and current of surge impulses and EUT power and provides valuable feedback to the test engineer. It allows quick and completely automated testing to the most common IEC, EN, ANSI, IEEE and UL standards. This generator ensures safe and reliable operation by using a safety interlock, warning lamp and emergency stop functions.

The AXOS 5 offers user-friendly operation through manual and automated test modes, aided by software assistance, pre-defined routines, and visual setups.  It can be operated either via the front panel by a large color graphic interface or remotely from the PC. The easy-to-use menu together with the availability of predefined test routines for different standards makes testing easy and reliable. It can be upgraded to perform 5 kV surge combination wave (1.2/50 µs and 8/20 µs), AC/DC voltage dips and pulsed magnetic field tests via software and/or hardware upgrades. This EFT/Burst Generator is ideal for compliance and pre-compliance testing of electrical products, CE marking, product development and debugging, and compliance testing of telecom and wireless devices.
