The TBCG3-CN from Tekbox Digital Solutions is a Comb Generator designed for verification of conducted emission test setups. This comb generator has a specified bandwidth of 1.5 GHz and is a useful tool to validate correct operation of the LISN, correct set-up and correct configuration of the spectrum analyzer. It has a rotary switch that provides the option of choosing from five fixed comb frequencies (from 100 kHz to 10 MHz), along with an external excitation input, spanning a frequency range of 5 kHz to 300 MHz. The device generates comb spectrums with a flatness of 8 dB, an output power of 66 dB&muV (@10 MHz) and has a frequency stability of 50 ppm.

The TBCG3-CN is powered by four AA NiMH batteries, consumes 70 mA of current and includes an external charger. It is available in a housing that measures 180 (Dia.) x 60 (H) with SMA-female (input) and N-type (female) output connector.
