The MIL-STD Chamber from Microwave Vision Group is an Anechoic Chamber that is designed for MIL-STD-461 and RTCA DO-160 requirements. This chamber is suitable for frequencies from 10 kHz to 40 GHz and allows radiated emission testing performance to be fine-tuned with MIL-STD-285/IEEE-299 regulations. It utilizes the unique SmartShield High Performance shielding system to achieve attenuation of more than 100 dB. This chamber is designed for benchtop testing with a standard bench configuration measuring 2.5 x 1.0 m. It can serve miniature, standalone EUTs and can be customized to accommodate larger EUTs.

The MIL-STD Chamber uses polypropylene absorber that does not undergo the typical age-related deterioration of typical "foam" polyurethan absorbers. This anechoic chamber has an option for commercial testing with HyPyr-Loss ferrite and hybrid lining and can also be used for radar applications with optional high-power absorbers. It is available in an enclosure that measures 4.6 x 4.1 x 3.0 m and has a distinctive design which occupies less volumetric space compared to traditional absorbers while maintaining the necessary distances between the EUT or test antenna and the chamber walls, ceiling, and floor.
