The EMC-3C from Microwave Vision Group is a Compact Anechoic Chamber that is suitable for pre-compliance emission and full-compliance immunity testing. It is designed for the frequency range from 26 MHz to 18 GHz (40 GHz option available), has a 3-meter test range, and accommodates quiet zones of up to 1.5 m with very repeatable results. This chamber achieves high performance and compact dimensions by utilizing MVG’s SmartShield high-performance shielding system combined with impedance-matched, hybrid HyPyr-Loss UF ferrite and UH-series polypropylene absorber. It is suitable for pre-compliance testing for CISPR 16-1-4, ANSI-C63.4, FCC parts 15 & 18, CISPR commercial product standards (13, 14, 15, 22, 24, 32, 35, and more) and IEC 61000-4-3 (full compliance) standards and also for ISO 17025, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality standards.

The HyPyr-Loss hybrid material used in this chamber is a unique combination of ferrite tiles and polypropylene pyramid absorbers which optimizes EMC measurement performance. These closed-cell absorbers ensure shielding effectiveness of up to 100 dB per MIL-STD-295/IEEE 299 while increasing repeatability, reducing the volumetric space, and resisting age-related deterioration. It has modular panels with RF connecting joints which enable an easily demountable chamber. The EMC-3C anechoic chamber has a shielding dimension of 7 x 3 x 3 m. It has modular and turnkey package options, making it suitable for EMC compliance testing across a wide range of electrical and electronic products.
