Overview

IEC 61000-3-3:2013 is now available as IEC Standards+ 61000-3-3:2013, including both the International Standard and its Redline version, which highlights all technical changes from the previous edition. This standard addresses the limitation of voltage fluctuations and flicker in public low-voltage systems. It sets the limits for voltage changes that can be produced by equipment tested under specified conditions and provides guidance on assessment methods. It applies to electrical and electronic equipment with an input current of 16 A or less per phase, intended for connection to public low-voltage distribution systems between 220 V and 250 V line-to-neutral at 50 Hz, not subject to conditional connection. As part of the IEC 61000 series, IEC 61000-3-3 is recognized as a product family standard. The third edition replaces the second edition (2008) and includes technical revisions reflecting the updates made in IEC 61000-4-15:2010.
