The 2221 from Empower RF Systems is a solid-state broadband high-power amplifier that operates from 9 to 10 GHz and produces a minimum output of 8kW peak pulsed power. It has a pulse width of 0.2 - 500 µSec and a duty cycle of 0.5 - 20%. This amplifier has a power gain of 70 dB, a pulse droop of 2 dB and a modulated pulse rise/fall time of 25 nsec. It has an input return loss of -10 dB and a power gain flatness of +/- 1 dB.
