User Friendly EMC Test Software for Automated Immunity and Emissions Testing

User Friendly EMC Test Software for Automated Immunity and Emissions Testing712370

AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation has introduced the emcware® 6.0 EMC test software to provide automated Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing and report generation for all types of users, from corporate to professional test laboratories. The emcware® 6.0 allows EMC test engineers more test time through minimal training, and highly efficient equipment and test setup through its unique workflow and hundreds of predefined test profiles.

This comprehensive EMC test software is designed for radiated susceptibility, conducted immunity, radiated emissions, and conducted emissions, with the ability to do multi-tone testing. The radiated and conducted immunity testing can be accelerated by testing multiple frequencies simultaneously. It is capable of simultaneous control of up to two signal generators and managing the applied frequencies.

emcware® 6.0 is designed to be user-friendly yet extremely flexible. It is broken up into modules based on different types of EMC testing and within each module, there are pre-defined standards. The ability to create custom test standards is also provided. Extensive report generation capability is built into each module. These reports can be customized by the user and all reports are created in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel or PDF.

Contained within emcware is a built-in Equipment List Manager which allows for equipment to be entered one time and then accessed from within any of the modules. The Equipment List Manager also keeps track of calibration dates and can warn the user when the calibration date of a specific piece of equipment is approaching.

The emcware® 6.0 software allows user to select between manual and automatic signal routing. Automatic signal routing is implemented using one or more AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation Model SC2000 System Controllers.

Instrument control is provided through AR RF/ Microwave Instrumentation's extensive driver library with the creation of new drivers for equipment that is not currently supported is available upon request. Drivers can also be created and imported by the user in the form of dynamic link libraries (DLL) files.

This windows-compatible software is conveniently licensed using a USB license key that enables full functionality of the software for a single PC. In order to meet the varied needs of all those involved in EMC testing, AR also offers the Nexio BAT-EMC test software. The BAT-EMC is software developed by NEXIO, since 1995, to cover the full requirements of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). It offers enhanced flexibility for EMC and non-EMC testing and in-depth equipment management.
