SGS Opens New State-of-the-Art EV Testing Facility in the Heart of Auto Industrial Hub in China
In January 2022, SGS opened a new state-of-the-art testing facility for electric and/or connected vehicles and their components in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China.
The A2LA ISO 17025 accredited Suzhou laboratory is situated in the heart of China’s growing auto industry. It provides comprehensive solutions for both original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1 suppliers operating in the electric and/or connected vehicle sector, including wireless module manufacturers.
The facility contains the world’s first multi-probe vehicular over-the-air (OTA) chamber, among comprehensive capabilities in the fields of automobile, electronics, communication, and reliability testing.

Serving national and international clients, SGS tests the full range of electric and/or connected vehicles and their networks in the APAC region. It is the only laboratory in the world to support both vehicle level and component level testing.
