I²PS's state-of-the-art testing laboratory employs cutting-edge measuring and simulation systems to assess the emitted interference and interference immunity of the test object.

The EMC services provided by I²PS include the development of meticulous test plans. Once the relevant EMC or product standard is identified, a comprehensive set of individual tests, along with corresponding severity levels, is defined. These EMC tests are conducted in a CISPR 16-1 and CISPR 16-2 compliant full anechoic chamber (FAR) with a 3 m test section. The results are then documented in a test report according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, which can be conveniently downloaded or provided as a hard copy.

As a recognized and accredited EMC testing laboratory, I²PS focuses on a range of essential services:

• Conformity tests for CE marking according to EN and IEC standards.
• Tests in compliance with technical standards, covering diverse areas such as medical devices, ISM devices, IT devices, domestic appliances, and tools.

• Immunity to high-frequency electromagnetic fields within a frequency range of 80 MHz to 6 GHz.
• Resilience to fast transient electrical interference (burst) up to 4 kV.
• Immunity to surges up to 6.6 kV at 1.2/50 μs and up to 3.3 kA at 8/20 μs.
