Bureau Veritas has announced the opening of its latest wireless laboratory in Hanoi, Vietnam. Representatives from the industry and government witnessed the opening ceremony followed by a tour of one of the most advanced and comprehensive wireless laboratories in the whole of Southeast Asia.
Already the second largest exporter of wireless devices, Vietnam’s Technology industry continues to evolve with many of the world’s largest brands expanding their manufacturing and R&D footprint in North Vietnam. Bureau Veritas' latest wireless laboratory is ideally located to support the growing numbers of innovative brands and manufacturers with their global market access plans.
The new location - Bureau Veritas' second technology laboratory in the country and fifth in South East Asia - leverages the Group’s decades-long experience of wireless technology, client relationships, technical governance and global footprint; and will provide clients in Vietnam with a wide range of regulatory and performance testing/certification.
The laboratory also represents a key step forward for the Group’s strategy to support technology clients worldwide, many of whom are increasing their footprint in the region. With testing services now available in the key manufacturing hub of South East Asia, and support from Bureau Veritas wireless specialists located in Hanoi, the laboratory provides global brands with a streamlined, accessible and convenient solution to their testing and certification demands in South East Asia.
