RTCA DO-160 Section 21: Radiated Emission Testing
RTCA DO-160 Section 21 testing consists of analyzing the radio frequency emissions of aircraft equipment to verify that RF noise levels fall within the standard’s specified parameters. RTCA DO-160 Section 21 compliance is mandatory for all sizes and classifications of aircraft to ensure that these emissions do not cause interference with other aircraft equipment systems.
