Laboratory for EMC and Safety is an accredited laboratory of KONČAR – Electrical Engineering Institute and operates within the Laboratory Center.
Laboratory Center of KONČAR – Electrical Engineering Institute is accredited by the Croatian Accreditation Agency (HAA) in accordance with HRN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for the scope of tests specified in the Accreditation Certificate No. 1035 and the scope of calibration specified in the Accreditation Certificate No. 2057, covered by EA-MLA.
Accreditation ensures the Laboratory’s independence and expertise in performing testing by using modern equipment in compliance with standards and technical specifications.
We offer testing services according to the following:
- Ordinance on Electromagnetic Compatibility (Official Gazette no. 23/11), EMC Directive
- Ordinance on Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment (Official Gazette No. 112/08); R&TTE Directive
- Ordinance on Electrical Equipment designed for use within Certain Voltage Limits (Official Gazette no. 41/10), Low Voltage Directive
- Ordinance on Gas Appliances (Official Gazette no. 55/10), Gas Appliance Directive
KONČAR – Institute operates in the IECEE CB Scheme as National Certification Body (NCB) and as a CB Testing Laboratory (CBTL).
