The LC300 from Laplace Instruments is an EMC Test Cell with a frequency range from 30 MHz to 6 GHz. It complies with the IEC61000-4-20 standard and is calibrated for emissions and immunity testing. This test cell has an EUT testing size limit of 30 x 30 x 30 cm, is equipped with a field sensor, and achieves commercial test-level standards with low RF power input requirements. The EUT volume of this test cell is fully encased in structural polycarbonate, ensuring robust support for heavy products. It has an antenna factor correlated to 3m OATS for emissions calibration. The test cell has an efficient design to minimize RF power requirements.
The LC300 is a modified form of the GTEM cell and features a balanced dual septum design with an impedance conversion network. This design modification optimizes the volume available for the Equipment Under Test (EUT) within the external dimensions of the cell, significantly enhancing field linearity and matching the conditions of an OATS chamber. It enables cell access through a spacious, full-height door at the cell's end. This test cell is available in a table-top enclosure that measures 2.3 x 1.0 x 0.87 m with N-type RF connectors and USB, RS232, and RS485 interfaces. It has a stainless-steel construction with welded construction and a Polypropylene EUT chamber.
