The SPECTRAN® V6 PLUS 500XA-6 from Aaronia is a Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer (RTSA) and monitoring receiver that operates from 10 MHz to 8 GHz. It has a real-time bandwidth of 80 MHz (optional 120 MHz) I/Q and a scanning speed of up to 440 GHz/s. This RTSA has an FFT-based probability of intercept (POI) of up to 97 ns and an I/Q-based POI of up to 10 ns. It is ideal for use in spectrum monitoring, RF and microwave measurements, interference hunting, EMC testing and Wi-Fi and wireless network measurement applications.
The SPECTRAN® V6 PLUS 500XA-6 has 1 Rx and 1 Tx port. It has a dual 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) at 2 GSPS and a 14-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) at 2 GSPS. This RTSA has a DANL of -170 dBm/Hz (internal pre-amplifier ON) and an amplitude accuracy of ±0.5 dB (compensated by FIR filter). It has an RBW (resolution bandwidth) of 62 mHz to 200 MHz and a frequency reference accuracy of 0.5 ppm (5 ppb via OCXO option). This spectrum analyzer has an XC7A200T-2 FPGA with 930 GMAC/s DSP processing and a 2 GB SDRAM. It supports Min, Max, AVG, Peak & QPeak detection.
The SPECTRAN® V6 PLUS 500XA-6 can be controlled via USB 3.1 Gen1 or USB 3.2 Gen1 interfaces. It supports concurrent reception of GPS/QZSS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo GPS constellations and has a GPS synchronization of ±10 ns timestamping in each data packet. This RTSA is USB-powered (via USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C PD 3.0) and consumes 15 W of power. It is available in a compact and lightweight enclosure that measures 210 x 115 x 30 mm and is ideal for measurements in both the field and in the lab.
