The CDG 7000-75-10 from Schlöder is a Conducted Disturbances Test System that operates from 4 kHz to 1200 MHz. It is designed to generate interference per IEC/EN 61000-4-6 standard for conducted interference testing. This test system consists of RF signal generator, RF power amplifier, 3-channel RF voltmeter and directional coupler. It simplifies the testing process by eliminating the need for complex setups involving antennas, field instrumentation, and shielded rooms. The system utilizes coupling networks and coupling tongs to induce sine waves directly into power and signal lines which allows the DUT to remain in its original position within the device structure enabling comprehensive testing of the overall system function.
The CDG 7000-75-10 includes a power amplifier that delivers an output power of 75 W with a gain of 51 dB and a noise figure of 7 dB. It has spurious emissions of better than -75 dBc and harmonic distortions of -20 dBc. This test system comes with the Helia 7 Basic application software which provides reporting functions, EUT monitoring, self-test capabilities, and the ability to create automatic test sequences according to different standards. For BCI tests, the optional Helia-7-BCI software is used which enables precise control, analysis, and documentation of BCI exams. The device can be easily expanded with an external amplifier and supports an input for external pulse modulation via the second generator output.
