The TDEMI® 44G from GAUSS INSTRUMENTS is an EMI Receiver that operates from 9 kHz to 44 GHz. It provides a fully CISPR complaint real-time bandwidth of up to 225 MHz which allows again fully gapless measurements. This receiver consists of a spectrum analyzer (optional real-time analyzer) and also has integrated low noise amplifier and a pre-selector with fixed filters allows excellent performance to measure EMC signals and communication signals. It uses again the latest technologies of high resolution and high-speed ADCs as well as new FPGAs to achieve an excellent spurious free dynamic range. The receiver also improves the scanning speed for the quasi-peak measurements.
The TDEMI® 44G G utilizes a traditional superheterodyne mode beside the FFT-based mode, which is implemented fully digital in the frequency range up to 1 GHz. Above 1 GHz there is an ultra-broadband down-conversion to the digital IF level, with an FFT-bandwidth of 112 MHz or 225 MHz. It implements the CISPR 16-1-1 compliant Short-term-FFT (STFFT) which speeds up EMC measurements by a factor of up to 16,000. This receiver has a 10.1-inch multi-touch PCAP display and includes Ethernet/LAN and USB interfaces. It is available in an enclosure and requires an AC supply. This EMI receiver is suitable for radiated, conducted emission testing as well as measurements using an absorbing clamp, CDN, and also automotive testing.
