The EFS-500 from Frankonia Germany EMC Solutions is a Field Strength Meter that operates from 300 kHz to 26.5 GHz. It has 6 monopole sensors, a dynamic range from 0.4 to 800 V/m, and a resolution of 0.01 V/m. This meter supports simultaneous sampling on the X-Y-Z axis with a sampling rate from 22 S/s to 0.03 S/s, depending on the filter setting. It is designed for field strength measurements/field homogeneity measurements during radiated immunity tests according to IEC/EN 61000-4-3/-20. This field strength meter can measure radiation exposure of typical environments like workspaces or flats.

The EFS-500 is an isotropic miniature E-field sensor to ensure that the E-field will not be influenced by the size of the sensor itself. It has an internal battery with an operation time of 100 hours. This meter uses a bidirectional fiber optic link for communication and includes fiber optic to RS232 converter and RS232 to USB converter. It comes with a PC software that displays field, temperature, battery, sampling, filters, averaging, frequency setting and manual data logging as text file. The field strength meter is available in an enclosure that measures 53 (H) x 17 (Dia.) mm.
