The KEMZ 801B from Ametek CTS is an absorbing clamp that operates from 10 kHz to 1000 MHz. It has a max. input level of up to 100 W and a connecting factor of +/- 4 dB. It's main function is to inject a known level of RF signal into the cable of the EUT at each test frequency and to determine a possible susceptibility of the EUT. The EM clamp injects the disturbance signal by a combination of inductive and capacitive coupling. It has an opening diameter of approx. 21 mm and a max. cable diameter of 20 mm. This f IEC/EN 61000-4-6 complaint clamp measures 647 x 130 x 105 mm with 4-mm banana N-type female connectors and weighs about 7 kg.
