Reflection Co-efficient to Mismatch Loss Calculator

When a transmitted wave reaches the boundary of the load, some energy will be transmitted to the load and some will be reflected. This ratio of reflected amplitude voltage to that of the incident voltage is called Reflection Co-efficient.

Mismatch loss (ML) is the ratio of output power delivered to the input power. Output power is often less than the input power because of impedances and reflected power. Mismatch loss is a function of the reflection coefficient.
