Applus+ Expands Automotive Component Testing in China with Acquisition of CFI
Backed up by solid accreditations, high-tech capabilities, and a diligent team of more than 50 experts, CFI counts on an extensive testing portfolio. This includes environmental, NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harness), and sled tests on vehicle components such as seats, airbags, pipes, and thermal management systems.
As the automotive industry aims to meet new challenges and time to market, optimizing and facilitating the testing process for quality control and R&D is critical.
Alongside the Group’s most recent automotive laboratory acquisition in China, Applus+ Reliable Analysis, this new acquisition consolidates the automotive component testing offer in one place. It also reinforces and expands Applus+ Laboratories' current portfolio in China, vital steps to optimize and facilitate the process for local and international OEMs.
The CFI acquisition is framed within the Applus+ strategic plan to gain strength in key technologies and capabilities to support its clients in the worldwide technological change derived from energy transition, electrification, and connectivity.
